Good morning. I just received the 2nd check from AHH. Amazing! Thank you so much. It sure will come in handy with Yom Tov coming… Please relay to the committee my heartfelt thanks. MI K’AMCHA YISROEL.
Best wishes to all for a K’Siva V’Chasima Tova.
btw, I must say, not only do you do nice things, but you do it all so nicely. It’s appreciated.
Hi it’s _________________ how are you?
Realizing that soon I’m gonna become a kallah was exciting and horrifying at the same time. It was the time For me , A dream come true. But this dream came along with a lot of responsibility that I could not carry through. I come from Belarus where the average salary is $500. My father wasn’t supporting me since I came to America for high school. Making a chassunah all by myself with no financial support from my family seemed unreal to me.
Then I heard about the organization called Avigdor’s Helping Hand, Mi KeAmcha Yosroel! I saw the light at the end of a long tunnel. As I sent the application and spoke to Someone on the phone my fears were gone. I felt like I was taking care of by Am Yisroel and of course by Hakadosh BaruchHu. I was back to my regular self at work, in college and at my boarding house. I was able to enjoy being engaged and getting to know my Chasson. I got so much Menuchas HaNefesh.
When I saw an envelope in the mail that said “AHH” on it, my heart got filled with joy. Now just like any other kallah I was able to get things for the chassunah, for my chasson, and for after the chassanah as well.
When I found out the way this organization works I could not believe it.! Volunteers working from their homes, cars, or elsewhere, with no office, pay or benefits. This is pure Chesed Shel Emes!! Thank you so much for taking away my burden, and saving me from the embarrassment of collecting money for myself.
May Hashem give you the full Zechar for this amazing chassed!
