G’Mar Chasimah Tovah!
Words feel too small to express the depth of my hakaras hatov for your extraordinary gift of $1,000. As an almonoh with ten precious children, your generosity is a lifeline — a source of dignity, comfort, and renewed hope. One of the most remarkable things about Avigdor’s Helping Hand is that every single team member is a Mi KeAmcha Yisroel – a shining neshama who volunteers their personal time with no compensation, only a heart full of Ahavas Yisroel. Your selfless dedication is a testament to the beauty and strength of Kol Yisroel Areivim Zeh LaZeh.
In this helige month of Tishrei, when our hearts are especially open to compassion and transformation, your kindness becomes a wonderful mitzvah that reverberates; a living chessed that will resonate not only in our home but in the Heavens above.
I heard a beautiful vortlach that i would love to share:
In Parshas Vayelech, Moshe tells the people:
“V’atah k’seivu lachem es hashirah hazos” — “And now write for yourselves this song.” (Devarim 31:19) Our Chachamim teach that even though one may inherit a Sefer Torah, there remains a mitzvah to compose one’s own — each of us must internalize and “write” our own spiritual song. Rashi and the poskim understand that the “song” here refers to Shiras Haazinu, the poetic warning and plea that follows in the next parsha. The transition from Vayelech into Haazinu is powerful. Moshe is preparing the people for the challenges ahead. He gives them tools — the song that will stand as a witness — so that when times grow dark and faith is tested, they may remember, reawaken, and return.
Your matanah is a kind of song. You have inscribed in our hearts a melody of hope, dignity, and warmth. In a time when we were vulnerable, you reinforced our connection to Emunah and Am Segulah. Just as Haazinu is meant to be our witness, your act bears witness to kindness in this world — a witness to how Hashem’s love flows through human hands.
May the One who measures kindness by its sincerity repay you b’alfei alafim l’dorei doros with hatzlacha, bracha, briyus, nachas, parnassa tovah, shalom v’shalvah, and yeshuos for all of Klal Yisroel. May your life be “shirah” — a song of blessing — and may your generosity return to you in abundant vessels, in this year of judgment and atonement.
הקב״ה ימלא את כל משאלות ליבכם לטובה בגשמיות וברוחניות בכל מעשה ידיכם בקרוב ממש אמן ואמן
Dear Eli and the amazing wonderful AHH team,
my mother received AHH generous donation, and she is very thankful for your golden giving heart
thank you! may you have a ksiva vchsima tova and a sweet year!
R’ Eli,
That’s incredible that you & the AHH team – are also thinking about how all the families will afford general Yom Tov expenses.
I can tell you from our end, we are having an overcrowded houseful of our children for Sukkos, as the yesomim have an emotional needs to be with their parent and siblings. It costs us a lot of money (that we don’t have) but we do it anyway.
You and all the AHH volunteers should be gbenched with all good things, in the zechus of bringing simcha to so many almans , almanas and yesomim.
It certainly is an aliya for Avigdor’s neshama!!!!!
Gmar v’chasima tova!
With much gratitude,

Hi Eli
How are you, just want to share with you our feelings and thoughts
We reached out to AHH when our father passed away, i was told that it’s not in our scope
But we will review with the board and see if an exception can be done, the rest is history …..
we got approved for 6k and we got 1k besides for that for yom tov
it’s unbelievable how this organization went out of their way even if we did not fit exactly its policies,
my mother was touched by it and is very grateful to all of you
MAY HASHEM GO OUT OF THE WAY for all you and your partners need, and be blessed with a happy healthy year with much nachas
ksiva v’chasima tova
